23 SS AIR TW

SS AIR TW is a new bait finesse reel released by Daiwa in 2023. It has two major improvements: the newly developed brake system “SS MAGFORCE” that provides unprecedented castability and the standard inclusion of TWS and HYPERDRIVE DESIGN that enhances basic performance.

It is saltwater compatible and can be selected from both left and right handles.
The gear ratio is 8.5:1. allowing you to retrieve 74cm of line per handle rotation.
It weighs only 145g. so you can enjoy high operability.
It firmly suppresses the dead space inside the side plate and spool unit to pursue compactness.

The maximum drag force is 3.5kg. and the line capacity is up to 45m for 8lb monofilament line.
For PE line. you can stock up to 0.8 gauge and cast long distances with even thinner lines.
The spool size is compact with a diameter of 28mm and a width of 21mm.
The handle is 80mm long and has 8 ball bearings.
